New system for Azimuth |

During the Kirill wind storm on 14th of
January 2007 I have lost my gears for Elevation and Azimuth. After couple
weeks I got all parts and can to start repairing of whole system. This
page show how is developed and done first moving part of system. Moving
Crew was produced by TECHNOMETRA Radotín CZ, which produce also
mechanical systems for Boeing Airplanes. Only this factory has in my
region so big machinery and very detail workers.

Here you can see detail of trapeze screw diameter 40mm and
bearings. Iron pipe has diameter 90mm and wall of pipe is 6mm . Moving
element for rope is in the miidle. |

Here you can see couple pictures how was developed moving
crew, snail gear and three phase engine. Whole system working perfect and
I am now waiting last part of new azimuth system. Drum and main axe, which
will be install below the dish. Expected element for moving is iron 8mm
rope. More details will follow. |

Test after installation. I have calculated force around
8ton for loading. For this force test I had installed iron rope 4mm
diameter and tested moving up. After couple seconds was iron rope damaged.
According the table, the 4mm rope is tested for 4 tons. Expected moving
force is there and with drum can be expected torque moment better like
12.000Nm. |
